Compound Tapa, Overboard tapa

Three tapa variations...

Compound tapa: Some clues are simple and some are compound. A digit either represents the length of a black cell block as in standard tapa, or ,the total of black cells in multiple blocks. For example, a (3) can mean (3), or (1,2) or (1,1,1).

Overboard tapa: The clues outside indicate one or two blocks of shaded cells in the upto 3 cells touching the clue (if 1,3 is the clue, then the block inside is either 1 or 3 )

Tapa winds: Atleast one digit in every clue cell also indicates the total number of cells shaded in the same way as the lines in a four winds puzzle,in all four directions.

Fillomino

I like using 3s and 1s in fillominos. The logic is forced significantly by these numbers in this fillomino. Thanks to Palmer for testing this one.

Sum Skyscrapers

Rules:Place each digit from 1 to 6 into the grid such that every row/column contains all digits exactly once.Numbers outside indicate the sums of all skyscrapers visible in that direction.

New-style tapa,Pencilmarks Tapa and more

Four tapa variations.

Tapa-two too much: Subtract some values from some(or all) of the digits in some(or all) clues, such that in every horizontal row(containing atleast one clue) ,a total value of 2 is deducted. No clue can be completely reduced to zero, though some digits can become 0.Then solve the resulting tapa.

Pencilmarks Tapa:Some letters are placed as clues. Each letter appears in three places in the grid. Each time,it has a different value(which can be found from the mapping provided).
Tapa fusion: Choose some non-overlapping 2x2 squares(containing atleast one given) and merge the four cells of each of these squares to form single 2x2 clue cells. All clues in those four cells will be merged to make a single clue. For example,if (1,1) and (2,4) are the individual clues, the merged clue will be (1,1,2,4). The resulting grid can contain only the merged 2x2 clues.

New-style tapa: Some tapa-like clues outside the grid indicate the lengths of blocks of diagonally adjacent shaded cells in the corresponding diagonal.

Skyscrapers

Rules:Place a digit from 1 to 5 in each cell,so that each digit appears exactly once in every row and column. These digits behave like heights of buildings.Numbers outside indicate the number of buildings that are visible in that direction(shorter buildings are blocked by taller ones).Every row and column will have a blank cell.

Polytapa and more..

These four new variations are all based on polyomino tiling, so i chose to group them together in one post.

Polytapa:The tapa wall should be tiled exactly by non-overlapping dominos and triminos .Pieces of the same size cannot touch each other, except diagonally.

Tapa fragments : Use only the given fragments (polyominos),any number of times each, without overlapping, to build the wall. Some clues have letter/s written.Clues which have one or more letters, must be orthogonally adjacent to atleast one fragment of the corresponding shape.Fragements can be rotated/reflected.The example here uses four pentominos

Anuraag's tapa:Locate some polyominos by writing numbers equal to the area of the polyomino. The polyominos should form a single tapa wall without forming 2x2 squares. Two equal-sized polyminos cannot be edge-adjacent with each other.Number/s in a cell indicate/s sum of all numbers(of the same polyomino) touching the cell .The clue will contain multiple numbers for multiple polyminos touching the clue cell.

Tapa in Squares: Follow regular tapa rules.Shaded cells must be tiled by non-overlapping squares 2x2 or larger only. The no 2x2 rule is dropped.

Delta Heterocut

Rules: Divide the grid into polyominos of areas in the given range. If there is a white circle between two cells,it means the cells belong to different polyominos of the same size.A grey circle means the sizes of the two polyominos differ by 1, and a black circle stands for a difference of 2.No two polyominos can be identical, even after rotation/reflection.

Pathbreaking tapa

Rules: Follow regular tapa rules. Then trace a path whose end points are marked as 'P'.The path does not intersect itself, and passes through some of the cells horizontally or vertically. The path cannot pass through the clue cells.Numbers on the left and top indicate how many cells are visited by the path.Numbers on the right and bottom indicate how many shaded cells the path visits.
