The 3rd POC is underway. Almost halfway through, the FB page shows almost no participants. It is a shame that not even 15-20 of the 400 or so puzzle "enthusiasts" would want to participate.

Third Puzzlerium Optimization Championship
The Third Puzzlerium Optimization Championship begins today. Puzzles are available to download here.
There are a total of 8 puzzles, including one that is Olympic-themed, to be solved within the next 20 days. Other details and instructions are included in the downloadable PDF document.

There is an addition to the answer submission rules (also added in bold letters in the puzzles file):
"With each puzzle's solution, the participant may (optionally) indicate that he/she thinks it is the best solution (among the submitted solutions). Consequently,
1. If it is not the best submitted solution, 20 points will be deducted from the final score. If other participant/s submit the best solution and do not say so, they would still earn a bonus of 5 points.
2. If it is the best solution, 10 points will be added.
3. When nobody marks his solution as the best, there are no bonuses or penalties for that puzzle."
